J.J. Stewart
Executive Chef and Owner
J.J. is the executive chef at both Fiddleheads Bar & Grill and Code’s Mill on the Park. Since 1999, he’s been putting his creative spin and culinary expertise into every dish we serve. Educated at New England Culinary Institute, one of North America’s top culinary schools, J.J. brings a seasoned vision that starts with locally sourced produce and the freshest ingredients. His promise is exceptional food and a memorable culinary experience.

Kyle Sheard
Managing Director and Owner
Kyle is an experienced hospitality professional with over 25 years in the industry. Recently appointed as Managing Director of the Code’s Mill Banquet and Wedding Venue, he brings a creative flair to his leadership. His pragmatic approach to the management of staff and his clients is refreshing. Skills he brings to the banquet include event coordination, creative problem-solving, team leadership, and community engagement. Kyle is also a partner with JJ in the renowned Fiddlehead’s Bar and Grill, where his hands-on experience as owner, line-cook, bartender, and host has helped to shape both venues.
Proudly identifying as a Valley boy, Kyle’s ties to the area run deep. He lives in Balderson with his wife Ashley and their two children. Kyle is actively involved in the community, particularly through coaching youth hockey. Throughout hockey season, Kyle is a dedicated father attending and coaching his son’s team.
John Stewart
Founder and Consultant
John founded Code’s Mill on the Park in 1999, after he and his family completed a major restoration and introduced new uses creating this landmark. One of the tenants is Code's Mill on the Park. Over the years, Perth has become known as the wedding capital and the banquet hall with its many guests has been a wonderful way of sharing this venerable landmark overlooking Stewart Park.
John is a Landscape Architect and throughout his career has specialized in heritage restoration. John’s legacy and skill has contributed to the revitalization of many of Perth's main street buildings and the recognition of Perth as significant historic community.

Serreh brings more than 14 years of experience as a professional photographer. Having spent her career helping clients celebrate some of life's most meaningful moments, she understands the importance of creating an experience that feels both personal and memorable.
Serreh brings warmth, patience, and genuine care to every couple she works with. She is passionate about helping clients feel supported throughout their planning journey, ensuring every detail of their venue experience comes together seamlessly.
